This album is a journey. It was originally envisaged to be a nice little Christian worship album, but somehow ended up being a deep dive into the tensions between the forces of darkness and light. The title is based around the Biblical concept of putting on the "Armour of God" in fighting the spiritual battle against darkness and evil (Ephesians 6:10-20).

The change in direction for this album came through one moment in Bondi in December 2025, which inspired the defiant song "Let It Shine". The album then goes on to explore the issues of faith, fruit, love, false leadership, and ends by asking questions around our response and the choices we make.

The album closes by asking the question - how much time do we really have on our side? Behold, He stands at the door and knocks. But the opportunity won't be there forever. For tomorrow holds no guarantees.
