Life Support is 2025's follow up to "Gotta Start Somewhere". It's an album that in many ways is a little more personal, a little more polished and a little more mature.
The album explores Matt's recent history in more detail, with tracks such as "Life Support", "You've Gotta Believe", "Time To Make The Change", "Going Home" and "You're Not Alone" taking on subjects that are a little closer to home when it comes to dealing with life's journey.
"You've Gotta Believe" in particular was written as encouragement to anyone going through tough times - medically, financially, spiritually, or through broken relationships. The chorus of the song is an anthem to hope and resilience to get through whatever storm life is throwing at us:-
"You’ve got to believe There’s a rainbow somewhere A small ray of light through the storm Hold on to hope There’s a new beginning A brand new day’s going to dawn You’ve got to believe You’ve just got to believe Got to believe"
And the track "Life Support" - well, you just have to listen to that one and add it to your playlist. It was so much fun putting that one together!
