From the recording I Believe
This opening track is a promise. That no matter the chaos, no matter the trouble you find yourself in, when you put your trust in Him (God), He will get you through.
Hope is never lost, because the Lord of Love can still be found. He paid the cost, and He's gonna stick around. There are many Biblical promises where God has promised He will be there in times of trouble. "..Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.." (PS 23:4). "..Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.." (PROV 3:5-6).
Lyrics
It’s so hard
To carry on
All your friends
Have somehow gone
But hope is never lost
The Lord of Love can still be found
Yeah He’s already paid the cost
And He’s gonna stick around
And He’s gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha through ooooh
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha through ooooh
When life is full of chaos
And there’s nothing you can do
Ya gotta put your trust in Him
‘Cause He’s gonna getcha through
Oooh yeah gonna getcha through
Oooh He will getcha through
You’re alone
Nowhere to turn
Your soul is empty
Where the fire burned
But hope is never lost
The Lord of Love can still be found
Yeah He’s already paid the cost
And you know He’s gonna stick around
Yeah He’s gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha through ooooh
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha
Gonna getcha through ooooh
When life is full of chaos
And there’s nothing you can do
Ya gotta put your trust in Him
‘Cause He’s gonna getcha through
Oooh yeah gonna getcha through
Oooh He will getcha through
Oooh yeah gonna getcha through
Oooh yeah He will getcha through
