This song is another updated version of a song that was released on the Wildlive album "Gotta Start Somewhere".
The lyrics were originally written in 1985, and the concept of the song is of two friends who take separate paths in life - one chasing fame and fortune, the other floundering through life, but seeking truth and inner peace. It's a song of hope that some day we can all run together, despite our differences and things that somehow get in the way (tear us apart).
This version updates some of the lyrics, as well as adding in pre-chorus lyrics and putting in a bridge.
