From the recording I Believe
This track is my statement of faith. It's what I believe, and that belief is what keeps me going through the stuff I have been through, and on the road ahead. Wherever that may lead and however long God grants it to continue. I will continue to run the race in whatever capacity I am able. One foot in front of the other. Do I have an amen?
Lyrics
I believe
The path that Jesus trod
I believe
In the Son of God
I believe
He is exactly who He said
I believe
God raised Him from the dead
Oh yeah I'm no longer deceived
His Mercy has been received
Whoa the power of love retrieved
In that moment that I first believed
And I’m a believer
Oh yeah I believe
oooh yeah I’m a believer
And I believe
Whoa I’m a believer
Ooh yes I believe
mmm mmm I’m a believer
And I believe
I believe
In prophecy
I believe
God sent his son for me
I believe
That love has not been lost
I believe
In the power of the cross
Oh yeah I'm no longer deceived
His Mercy has been received
Whoa the power of love retrieved
In that moment that I first believed
Mmmm I’m a believer
Oh yeah I believe
oooh yeah I’m a believer
And I believe
Whoa I’m a believer
Ooh yes I believe
mmm mmm I’m a believer
And I believe
I believe
The call to faith is pretty clear
I believe
That harvest time is here
I believe
That Love is the attraction
I believe
My faith requires action
Oh yeah I'm no longer deceived
His Mercy has been received
Whoa the power of love retrieved
In that moment that I first believed
Mmmm I’m a believer
Oh yeah I believe
oooh yeah I’m a believer
And I believe
Whoa I’m a believer
Ooh yes I believe
mmm mmm I’m a believer
And I believe
Whoa I'm a believer
Oh yeah I believe
Whoa I'm a believer
Oh yeah I believe
