From the recording I Believe
This track is an update to a song I put on Wildlive's "Life Support" album. It is a testimonial of what I went through in 2024, and a song of hope that you've got to believe that there is a light through whatever storm comes your way. I have updated the music and revised the lyric a bit in this version.
Holding onto hope and believing that there's a brand new day around the corner is so important when going through any trial. Troubles and trials are generally temporary, and our attitude on how we tackle those storms is what is going to get us through. You have to believe that the clouds will eventually clear, and the sun will again shine through.
Personally, for me, there were 3 things that kept me going and got me through those 5 weeks in hospital - the skills of the surgeons, the encouragement of others, and most importantly the prayers and belief that there was a rainbow of light through the storm. God is forever sovereign.
