Originally written in 2004, this song is about losing a love and trying to start over again. Personally, I delved back in my memories to my late teens, and channelling the emotions and heartaches that often go along with thinking you have found true love - only to lose it. It's a song about working through pain while struggling to make sense of the hurt. Sometimes letting go is the hardest. :(
