This song actually came out of a time where I was mentally spent. I was down, and drowning mentally. The lyrics were actually a reminder to myself when I do get in those sort of times to "hold onto love". It's kind of a lyrical rope to hold onto and remind myself that no matter what your emotions say, there is always hope.
