Originally written in 1985, Finding Truth is in many ways an antithesis to the angst of "Are You There" - even though it was written many years before. It is still a lyric that is searching and asking the questions, but pointing to an answer.
Personally, it came from a time in my life where I had been disillusioned by what I had seen in people preaching one thing, but living something totally different. People I should have looked up to, but finding their facade not matching reality. The truth is, there is only One who you can fully trust.
