For many of us, Christmas can actually be a time of sadness. Missing love ones, and mourning those that are no longer with us can leave a huge hole that just can't be filled over the Christmas season. And that's okay. I wrote this song for those who can sometimes struggle with the happy, clappy joys of Christmas without recognising the tinges of sadness and mourning for those we have lost along the way.
