From the recording Celebrate The Love
In all my Christmas songs, I have tried to capture the classic atmosphere and vibe of what Christmas means to so many people. Pictures of ginger bread, christmas trees, lights, decorations, snowflakes, silvery moons and just the joy of getting together with family and friends to celebrate the season. Along with a gentle reminder that Christmas time is more than just presents - there is a greater gift to be celebrated here.
Lyrics
Lights and decorations
Stockings hanging by the fire
Sleigh rides and jingle bells
Love fills our heart’s desire
Ginger bread and mistletoe
Christmas trees and falling snow
Lights are twinkling, stars are bright
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
I’m outside catching snowflakes
By the light of the silvery moon
Joyful heart of gladness
Humming my favourite tunes
Ginger bread and mistletoe
Christmas trees and falling snow
Lights are twinkling, stars are bright
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
Time of cheer
The birth of Love is near
We celebrate the season
Hope held high
Don’t let it pass you buy
For He has given life a reason
Ginger bread and mistletoe
Christmas trees and falling snow
Lights are twinkling, stars are bright
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
It’s like it’s Christmas Eve tonight
