From the recording Celebrate The Love
When I sat down to write a Christmas album, this was actually one of the first songs that came out. I wanted to create a song that captured a Christmas party vibe, and Yuletide Swing was definitely the way to go! Set to an old time jazz swing vibe, it's the perfect Christmas classic straight from a 1950's dance party. I love the fun vibe I was able to get with this :)
Lyrics
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
We’re all doing
The Yuletide swing
Sleigh bells are jingling
Presents round the tree
Mistletoe in the hallway
Kids on Santa’s knee
Join my party
I’ll let you in
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Forget your worries
Because here’s the thing
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
We’re all doing
The Yuletide swing
Reindeer in the garden
The sled is in the drive
Rudolf is directing traffic
While the party’s on inside
Join my party
I’ll let you in
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Forget your worries
Because here’s the thing
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
We’re all doing
The Yuletide swing
Christmas lights are twinkling
The stars are shining bright
There’s love all around in this town
Cause it’s Christmas Eve tonight
Join my party
I’ll let you in
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Forget your worries
Because here’s the thing
Everybody’s here
For the Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
Yuletide swing
We’re all doing
The Yuletide swing
